The Capital Area Disc League

Capital Area Disc League was formed in early 2008 to promote disc golf as an enjoyable, challenging and environmentally responsible sport suitable for participants of all ages that is appropriate for multi-use recreational sites as a “Lifetime Fitness Activity”.

Our name was initially "Cary" Area Disc League (CADL). We have grown exponentially over the past 10 years and established incredible partnerships with parks & recreation entities including Zebulon, Raleigh, Town of Cary, Town of Holly Springs, Falls Lake State Park, Fuquay Varina, & Harris Lake County Park, I transitioned our club from "Cary" to "Capital" due to expansive geographic reach of our club.

CADL's Community Service

CADL is highly geared toward community service, event management, charities, & volunteerism. We have conducted numerous Professional Disc Golf Association (PDGA) sanctioned events, clinics, and Disc Golf Introduction booths over the years. These events have been held at the capital area disc golf courses, LazyDaze and SpringDaze festivals, as well as schools and businesses including SAS, RTI, and Laboratory Corporation of America (LabCorp).

CADL's Partnerships

The Club has also partnered with the Town of Cary and the Police department to establish “Project Phoenix”, which conducts Disc Golf clinics to serve underprivileged housing areas in Cary.
